Meet Katelyn Onaba, the creator of Edmonton Breastfeeding Resource. As a Registered Nurse and IBCLC, I work with families with brand new babies in a busy local hospital. I am also a retired La Leche League Leader, and continue to offer my knowledge in a volunteer capacity via this website, its social media, and by co-leading the Bonding Together group through Jasper Place Family Resource Centre.

I created this website out of frustration at not being able to refer families to a single resource that could help them research and choose the right lactation support for them. In a time of stress and worry, I wanted to make the process easier for new parents. This website is a community resource and I am always happy to include any resources that are not already on the site.
